What is going on with eBay with their updated revised website. I am having problems with buyers having a wrong mailing address listed with them from eBay. Two of my buyers have an incorrect mailing address which they are having a hard time to correct with eBay. No live person to talk to...for customer service you have to go through this long list of titles listed on their updated website which is time consuming. Believe it or not, these 2 buyers had their mailing address reversed to each other which is hard for them to correct with eBay. In the meantime, I am losing sales trying to correct this problem. Very frustrating.

It is the buyers responsibility to keep their ship to address current. Very easy to do. At check out buyers are provided the ship to address at check out & they can revise it at that time. When I am have an item ship to a family member that lives 950 miles from our primary ship to address. Just follow the instructions in the link below.
It does seem very unusual that you had two different buyers have their ship to addresses switched unless they are running a game on you.

So you are saying, for instance, that buyer #1 who lives in Spokane, has had their address switched with buyer #2 who lives in Kansas City? I find that to be very suspicious, don't you? I would cancel both, citing problem with buyer's address. And I would explain to both beforehand, telling them what I am doing. I would then relist, telling both to look carefully at the address shown on the invoice.
"What is going on with eBay with their updated revised website." I have a hunch that this has NOTHING at all to do with eBay's updated web site.

What do you mean by “switched”? Buyer A has Buyer B shipping address and vice versa?
How would that even happen? Did the two buyers purchase at exactly the same time? Even if they are seconds apart, eBay sends you an email immediately after the item sold... that email shows the buyers shipping address. It’d be impossible for the addresses to be switched in that email since it isn’t real time.

How did they figure that one out? Agreed that it is suspicious, per the previous poster.
Not your problem, leave it to them to sort out and only ship to the address that eBay provides.
Best of luck moving forward,
Grandma

So both buyers did not check the address showed to them in checkout? That is the one sent to you to ship to.That has no bearing on you, that is buyers error. If they are asking you to ship to a different address say no as you lose any little seller protection you have.If they do not want you to ship to address in order details using problem w address cancellation and relist

Have you noticed how many of us cannot figure out how that could possibly happen, unless you, the seller, accidentally switched labels when packing?
How about returning and giving more details?

So I buy something from a seller and ask that the seller ship to YOUR address?
And you, at the same time, buy something from that seller and give MY address as the shipping destination?
What do you figure the odds are of that happening?

I don't think the OP is ever coming back. Sad.

No, actually his most recent login was 6:41 a.m. this morning (Pacific time), so you can figure that most of our responses have been seen, plus the "@" reference will get him a ping in email... not to mention that with the current login issues with the Khoros interface, it's likely that a lot of members give up trying to log in to post a reply.
