I am not sure US or European buyers would buy these from so far away?

The list you gave is for VERY common items.

I can get these items in one day from Amazon, or use Instacart and get them in 2 hours (that's an app where you pay someone to go get your groceries), or run down to the local store myself.

     I will make the same recommendation that I make to all the Sri Lankan posters. READ!!! There are hundreds of eBay help files available to you. Why should the experienced sellers on this forum waste their time providing you links to information you can easily obtain yourself. I am assuming you also have access to Google and/or other internet search engines. If you want to learn do some research.

I keep saying this and saying this to the new Sri Lankan sellers who come onto the boards with questions.

What is interesting or special about YOUR country?

Art, carvings, shawls, jewelry, woven purses, special spices, traditional fabrics.......? I don't know enough about Sri Lanka to know, I am just guessing here - but every country/culture has something special and interesting that is unique to just them.

Rustic, ethnic, hippie, boho items are very saleable. Do you know how to play around with Search, to research which of these items might be popular?

Here is what I am talking about.… 

Just as an example, I Googled "tradition Sri Lankan wedding" to see something from your culture. The bride dresses look very much like Saris (sarees). I don't know if that is the word in your language.

Then I looked up "traditional sari" on eBay, and used the "sold" filter. Look here:

Traditional fabrics sell for hundreds and thousands of dollars, even the used/recycled batches.

You should look for these kind of things from your own country to sell. This is just one guess and one search.
