I think the combination of the reshuffled Categories and Item Specifics mandate has negatively affected sales in the categories I sell in. Going in to the bulk of the weekend, Saturday - Sunday and sales are abysmal ... two auctions with bids (one just ended) and one outright purchase ... that's it for the moment ... usually there is a lot more activity. Monday is normally 15 to 20 packages (more if sales are hot) ... right now looking at 3 ... maybe some more will come through ... sure hope so.
I created some new listings and viewed the LUMPED categories and just shook my head.
Hopefully others are not having these issues!

Same here. Not only are we getting fewer sales, the sales we do get (on auction) are usually only one bid - and we begin at a lower price than the items are worth - hoping to get more than one bidder. But, no...
Good news is we are enjoying the slow time. It's almost like a vacation. Of course, we might be moving into a Walmart parking lot soon.

Thanks for the reply @iart ,
Yep ... I got a few bids on the one auction that ended but we're not talking any real high end stuff. I'm thankful for the sale to be sure but hate being well over 50% behind on weekend sales this far in to the weekend.

Picture it…. eBay sellers parking lot communes popping up at Walmarts across the world.

And could start your OWN marketplaces there!
My sympathies to all, having been through this a couple of years ago. Stupid, stupid timing. STUPID.

Thread title: If they can't find it they can't buy it.
The scrambled categories and IS's are making it difficult for people to FIND things. One plus One.

Slow here also. Usually have several come Monday but as it stands I have only one.

If true the OP should name something a person cannot find. I looked at a couple and found every one with no problem.

I have 244 listings, store showing 234, items for sale showing 235.
Really low views and no sales during weekend so far.
No idea what is happening, but for me it has been happening for many months already.

I go in spurts. Tuesday (I take Monday off, no matter what, Monday is my day off), I had 7 orders, rare for me as I average 1-2 a day. The rest of the week NADA. Nothing.
Never had a week like this, especially this close to the holiday season.
Buyers aren't going to find it in stores, they better get it on the bay while they can!

You have 242 listings. Unfortunately you are in sriLanki and US buyers do not want your stuff.

See, I personally have a hard time buying that. I listed a whole load of items in multiple different categories (collectible keychains, figures, plush toys, breweriana) over about the past week and a half... three of them have already sold, about fifteen more have watchers, and just this morning I got a message from a potential buyer asking if I'd be willing to combine shipping if they bought more than one. I've also been making steady sales in multiple categories recently too. Why would buyers be having no problems finding my stuff if the categories and ISes supposedly messed things up that badly?

Lithuania is not Sri-Lanka.
