If anyone has time to help me identify the mark on a MCM (c. 40s-50s) studio pottery lamp it would be much appreciated. I've already dug around in some pottery mark databases with no luck, but I'm open to resource recommendations as well.
It's difficult for me to make out the exact mark since some of the glaze has filled it in. The closest resemblance I can find are some of Warren MacKenzie's marks but it's not close enough for me to feel certain. Of course it's possible this is by an unknown artist and has no value above intrinsic, but I'd rather ask around than wonder if I sold something special for too low. If it helps, this was definitely made to be a lamp (as opposed to a vase that was converted to a lamp).
