It looks like a letter C inside a circle.  Does anyone know the glassware company that used this mark?  Thanks.IMG_7948.jpegIMG_7951.jpegIMG_7947.jpeg

It looks like a pontil mark to me. That's the scar that's left when the hand-blown glass piece is removed from the blow pipe.

I'll second the pontil mark reply. I believe the previous answer is correct.

My thought agrees with the other replies. It is not a makers trademark but a mark left from the production process. I deal with ceramics (not glassware) but learned in this thread about pontil marks for future knowledge.

I looked it up and it is a good thing for your item. It means it is hand blown and not factory.

It's true you learn something new every day, I knew it was not a maker's mark, But I did not know what a pontil was until know, Thank you knowledge for the future.

As others have said it is definitely a pontil and the design looks Scandinavian. It's hard to determine without handling it if it's a knock-off or the real thing but I'd search Helena Tynell or Tamara Aladin Riihimaki Finland.

You have taught me something about glassware should I run into it in the future. We can learn from others through these posts. Thanks for the info. Pontil marks on blown glass, I'll be dang! LoL.
