I'm trying to list a old owners manual with no ISBN number but it wont let me.
Apparently it is a "required" field.
I did search the boards for an answer before posting this.
Apparently there was an issue but that issue was supposed to be fixed.
It still wont let me enter without a ISBN.
Does anyone know of a workaround?

"N/A" and "Does Not Apply" does not work.

My suggestion: Find any old ISBM number on any other item and use that. Seldom will 'buyers/searchers' actually use that number to 'locate' something because if you REALLY think about it..
If a person does NOT have the manual, they would NOT know what ISBM number to look for anyways.
They will just put "1979 Firebird Owners Manual" in the search box, as I did and found it quite easily.

Do random numbers in the ISBN format work?
Also, maybe I was hallucinating, but I thought that if you listed in the collectibles section you didn't need the ISBN.

Did you type into Google, ISBN for (insert manual you wish to list)?
I find a lot of older ISBNs that way and many, many older ones are generic and can/could apply to various items/products. Not everything had a "unique" ISBN, etc.
Is this the category you are using, or a different one?

First i tried @stainlessenginecovers 's suggestion.
It worked but it looked a little funny having the item specifics show another book title.
You're right though, someone buying an owners manual will not care.
Then i tried @chapeau-noir 's suggestion.
It worked and I went with that.
Thank you both.
Have a great weekend!
