HI guys i really need input in this, i recent listed this item for sale:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/222875466410?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2649
And a buyer bought the item pretty quickly.
He paid everything with paypal, Now i was a little bit too quick to print out the shipping label, when i noticed that the address on the label was a little fishy. I ended up having to void the label and research the address. The address seems to be in the middle of nowhere, researching it online states that it's actually storage facility.
This feels like a possible scam to me, i need advice guys, what should i do? should i just cancel the order? and can i cancel the order and what happens if this person don't accept the cancellation request? thanks. ALso i've sent the buyer a message to verified his address, and i'm waiting to see what he says
P.S. what happened to the ebay seller options, i remember when we sold something we could excplicitly ell ebay to only accept verified paypal sellers and also tell ebay to exclude people with unpaid item strikes, i don't see that option anymore, or am i blind?

@topbargainseller wrote:Guys i just added even more bubble mails to this package and it's super well packaged now. I just shipped it out, wish my lucky. I'll come back to this thread in a month to tell you guys if i've had any problems with this seller or not!
Good luck! If there are any issues in future, please update us here before you take any action.

You sent the buyer an email verifying his address. That's exactly perfect. You couldn't have done better.
Ive been nervous before about a buyer. I called ebay. They said buyer was great. Still i had that feeling.
I called paypal and they told me buyer had opened 10 cases in the last 8 months.
I immediately relayed this to buyer. If i hadn't been armed with this information, im sure it would have been a free item and her money back.
Something odd has been happening here lately.

guys i have another question....Under his address details on the ebay order details and the paypal adress, his box number was ending with a 697...However on the shipping label, it only printed out up to the number 6 i guess because his address was too long. I want to edit the address to include the full 697 number on the shipping label but ebay says it would void my warranty, WHAT SHOULD I DO? if i don't edit it, it'll send to the wrong box since it's missing the last 2 numbers 97, but if i edit it, i lose my seller protection?

That warning only applies to cases where you make wholesale changes to the address.
Tinkering with it to make sure it all fits in the allotted space does not affect your Seller Protection. The data is basically the same.

Just write it on the label after you print it.

Yea i can write the numbers 97 after i print it out, but if he claims he didn't receive and check the tracking # and the track # shows an order that shipped to an address ending in box number only up to 6 and not 697, would i lose the case? **bleep** this is more headache than i asked for...

As above: either write the correction (i.e. missing digits) clearly on the label if you've already printed it, or move the "Box number" to the second line of the address instead, where you should have enough room to fit the whole thing in.
You're not changing the destination, just correcting the address as printed.

That's not how the tracking works. The package will be delivered to the given street address and scanned as Delivered as that point. The recipient (reshipper in this case) will do their own sorting based on the box number in its entirety, as written. The tracking is over and done with by then.

Can you rearrange it so that the number appears on a second line under the street address, like an apartment or suite #? That would work perfectly fine.

ok i'm going to move the box number to the second line and add the 97 numbers to it. I mean the address now matches the order details address and the paypal address, so i should be good right? thanks

Yes. All you did is rearrange the data to make it fit into the template. You didn't actually change anything.
I've had to do this with addresses in Spain, Latin America, the Philippines. For some reason, countries with a history of Spanish as the official language tend to have elaborate street names.

And I love those aristocratic Spanish names that have just about every proper name and conjunction in the language in them. Must be like waiting at a railroad crossing for a freight train when they introduce themselves.

ok this is weird, i moved the box to the next line but it's not saving. it keeps reverting back to the number with only the 6 in the end and it's not saving up the 97...
anybody knows why?

Storage facilities are often diversified business offering shipping services, moving truck rentals, and yes, mailboxes.
