I want to make sure I am doing this correctly and don't get a defect. The INR request says I must resolve by 12/16.
I have uploaded tracking and sent the buyer a message that I will refund minus shipping once I receive it back. I'm positive it won't be back to me in 3 days! The mail is very slow right now and tracking just says addresssee unknown, return to send processed.
This is what the INR request now shows - but still says resolve by 12/16:
Thanks! We’ll let the buyer know that you updated tracking details for this item. You can also take another action in the meantime.
Is this how it is supposed to look? Why does it still say resolve by 12/16? Do I need to do anything else?
I don't want a defect. Buyer didn't provide a valid address - that is not my fault.

I'm confused as to why it still says resolve by 12/16 after tracking has been uploaded. Will something change on 12/16 or will it just sit out there open?
I do not want to refund until I receive the item back - and that could take weeks w/ USPS right now. LOL.
