Got an INR claim this morning from a buyer, the tracking only goes as far as "out for delivery" I think this is an automatic loser for me but would like to verify if anyone knows for sure before I refund. Thanks in advance for any info

Was this a coin shipped with eBay Standard Envelope @zero29zero ?
1. Check tracking on this site to make sure there's no delivered scan: parcelsapp.com
2. If no delivered scan, refund the buyer.
3. File an insurance claim following the instructions here: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options/ebay-standard-envelope?id=...

What's the date of the "Out For Delivery" scan? If it was today then you wait and see if it gets delivered, if it does you simply respond to the INR by adding the tracking number. You have 3 days to respond to the INR so don't be to quick to issue a refund.

Call the local PO where this package is suppose to land and get info from them on the location of the package. Tell the buyer in the INR claim that you are researching where this package is and you will respond back as soon as you get the info from The local PO. You find the destination PO by using the zip code provided in the address. At times there may be more than one PO in that area, Call them all. ASsk the customer to be patient while you research the inquiry from them.

If the package is not late and the out for delivery is still active they may not have gotten it delivered yet.

PO cannot check metered mail tracking and OP's items appear to ship all or mostly eBay Standard Envelope.

Yes this was an ESE shipment sent to a Delaware freight forwarder, checked parcelapp and it showed same scans stopping at "out for delivery"
I'll just go ahead and refund the buyer and file insurance claim when enough time has elapsed, figured that would be the outcome
In 2-3 years of using ESE I've had to file a couple claims and it's relatively simple, thanks for the help

I've had out for delivery scans show up a few days later. Sometimes the scanner has issues. Sometimes it fell in a crevice in the truck. I also recommend starting a find my missing item claim with the PO, sometimes that gets the scan completed.
