COSTUMERSSERV HELLO EBAY I AM OUTRAGED BY THE BAD SERVICE THEY OFFER TO THE USERS, ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS I HAVE COMPLAINED AND UNTIL TODAY I DO NOT HAVE ANY CREDIBLE ANSWER SINCE MOST OF YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE UNABLE TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM, I HOPE THAT YOU CAN SOLVE THIS. YOU HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION AS YOU ARE STEALING MY MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT, IF YOU DO NOT GIVE ME A SOLUTION TO MY CLAIM, I WILL PUT THE BAD SERVICE OF THE EMPLOYEES ON SOCIAL NETWORKS. PLEASE IT S AMAZING AS IN JUNE I SOLD 78.08 AND YOU CHARGE ME FEES FOR 95.54 AND I STILL OWE YOU EBAY. YOU HAVE TO RETURN ME THE MONEY YOU ARE STEALING FROM ME. THE FEES ARE MAINLY FOR INSERTION FEES FOR SOMETHING I HAVE NOT SOLD. I WILL ANNUNCIALLY THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKS THEN I WILL TALK TO MY LAWYER SO THAT HE TAKES OTHER PUNISHMENT MEASURES. THANK YOU

A) It's not a good idea to type in all caps. That indicates you're screaming
B) The use of sentences and paragraphs makes your post a lot easier to read.
C) Never give your phone number out on a public forum.
D) When you post here, you are not talking to ebay. This board consists of other sellers.
E) Ebay is not stealing money from you.
F) When you use ebay, you agree not to sue them.
Good luck and have a nice day!

How about returning here and giving the details of your issue?
This Board is made up of fellow eBay buyers and sellers who volunteer our time here to help others when we can.
And if/when you do return, please be considerate and take off your caps lock. Perhaps you used caps lock to convey the strength of your concern. But, for most of us, it just comes off as making it hard for some folks to read your message.

So, now that I see your complaint apparently is about something you sold and you feel that eBay took out too much in final value fees?
Item number?
Are you aware that eBay's final value fee is calculated on the item price, the shipping cost and the state sales tax, if applicable?
It's none of my business, of course, but when I look at your prices, it's a little surprising that selling here is worth it to you, given the above facts.

CS does not read or respond to messages here. You have to pay insertion fees even when items do not sell. You should read up on ebay seller policies. Threatening them will not help. They do not care what you say about them on social networks. People complain about ebay daily. It makes no difference. You could be the one in trouble if what you say isn't accurate. All caps yelling does not help. It is very doubtful a lawyer would want to be bothered with this or you could afford to have them bother with it.

I completely agree with INHAWAII. Now did you sell something and the buyer failed to you ? Ebay charged you fees. If you CANCEL the transaction with the excuse that BUYER DID NOT PAY, most of the fees will be returned to you.
Anyway, posting on social media does nothing. Instead learn to follow ebay policies and you might actually make a profit here.

"I WILL ANNUNCIALLY THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKS THEN I WILL TALK TO MY LAWYER SO THAT HE TAKES OTHER PUNISHMENT MEASURES."
I started to bold that quote and put it in red, but it looked so angry, and I chose a calmer color . . . . . .
Any lawyer worth his/her fees will want to know about the terms of use of any website such as eBay that you might wish to sue. The User Agreement is the document the attorney will need to review. Item 5 of the User Agreement spells out eBay's fee structure in detail.
Today I learned that there is no such word as "annuncially" and I don't know what the OP means to say. Could it be "initially"?

Wow.. Sellers are starting to wake up to the nickel and dime stuff..
I'm sorry about what your going through, your not alone.

And yet you are still listing, even tho you think Ebay is 'stealing' from you?
08-15-2022 08:53 PM
Make sure you you haven't checked the box to automatically relist unsold items. I did that once and it took me a minute to figure out why I was being charged fees. Luckily no one bid on anything because I hadn't logged on in a couple of weeks.

You have sold a lot of items from $1.17 to $2.34. In my estimation, you should be losing money. Hope you are just doing this as a hobby and not for income.
OP uses caps in listing as well.

Clueless. Ebay charges on the TOTAL sale. The stole nothing so they will not respond to you.

Probably want to take down your current listings.
You agreed to all of those fees in various things you checked off without reading and the user agreement you checked off without reading. Including the binding arbitration which keeps you from suing ebay. Not that any competent lawyer is going to take a case over $95 against a company in another country anyway.

I really hope they calm down, and tell us the specifics. That's really the only way we can help.

As others have told you, written communications in All Caps denote that you are yelling. Not to mention it makes it so hard to read.
It appears you need a better understanding of what our Selling Fees are.
$78.08 X 12.9% = $10.07 in FVF plus a 30 cent fixed transaction fee PER TRANSACTION. So if you had lets say 10 transaction, that would be $3.00 in fixed transaction fees. Then if there was an Sales tax on these sales if you shipped into the USA, you have to pay the FVF on the sales tax too.
Was the $95.54 including the Shipping and sales tax on your sales. That is likely what got you to that total. $95.54 x 12.9% FVF = $12.33 plus the 30 cent fixed transaction fee PER transaction.
I would encourage you to read through this link carefully and completely. It just appears you misunderstand how the fees here work.

It doesn't appear that you run so many listings that you would be using up your Free Listing allotment. So insertion fees isn't likely.
