I've been a member on eBay since 1999 and I have been frustrated with eBay because they don't even care
what is sold on their site and how it's posted. I've reported many items being sold as used that are broken and others that are listed as used with brand new photos and nothing is done. I haven't sold anything for a while because of this but decided to sell a microphone I have; huge mistake! I sold my microphone for $375.00 and the fees were $51.07 to sell that microphone; needless to say I was shocked. In addition, now I find out that I won't even get paid for 3 days when I used to get paid immediately through PayPal. I sold my item on August 5th and now I won't get paid until August 8th which means many sellers just like me won't get paid until August 8th that sold an item on August 5th like me. Not much interest is collected on my $323.93 that eBay owes me; however, when you add up all the sales on a daily basis, eBay is collecting interest on hundreds of millions of dollars for those 3 days by keeping our money. So now I sell all my music gear on Reverb and looking for other alternatives to eBay. I might buy rare small ticket items on eBay that I can't find anywhere else but I'll search long and hard before I do and I'm done selling on eBay. I'm all for capitalism, but the greed of the corporate executives at eBay and many other corporations just like them is insane!
