Did you mean:

I think this is the only way to do it.

I think the only way to 'succeed' weekly, on eBay, is to have $50,000 in listings so, you might be able to sell $400-500 per week.  Of course, this would amount to $350 in fees.   lol  I guess I'll have to stick to my $100-150 a week, before fees and, find a nice unlocked tool shed to live in.   😛   Good luck to all.

Yep, I always find the hunt for new product to be incredibly challenging. Even if you know what you're looking for, then you still have to find a good enough deal to make it profitable.

I spent entire days scouring ebay for game lots this past week and a half. I got some good deals, but it doesn't always work out that way. Sometimes I can't find a good enough deal to make it worth the purchase.

Other times people don't realize the value of what they have, then I get the best deal imaginable. One lot I picked up last month for $68 will net me close to $700 once its all sold, and I already doubled my money on it.

The only thing that sucks about selling games is the daunting task of often having to resurface them as well, or lose hundreds in additional profits if I don't. I try to just put them in batches and resurface like 30 or 40 at a time.

Yeah, I focused primarily on games that were sought after by collectors but not really popular with casual gamers, meaning their GameStop prices were pretty low.  It paid off but it also meant a lot of running around to different stores to nab things that I knew were worth it.  Works great when you don't have a job, not quite as well when you do, for obvious reasons!

…...and you know what every buyer on eBay wants, do you?

Nope, but I know you're here at least a couple times a week posting about lack of sales. So, I know what they don't want.

You couldn't be more wrong here. You definitely would be able to afford a padlock to go with "your" shed.
