I somehow marked an item paid

So i don’t  remember when this happened but I was wondering if I marked something as payment received  would I still get payment for it as a seller / store or is that not meant to be used as a note to self ?

You can mark it unpaid.

It's meant for situations such as local pickup where the buyer pays in cash and eBay can't electronically track the payment.

Marking it paid on your end does not mean a payment will be sent to your account. A buyer has to submit payment for you to get paid.

If you want to leave a note to self, there's an option to "add note" on the order.

I've never touched that myself, but if you don't receive payment after the 4th day you can cancel the transaction stating non payment. You will be refunded FVF and the buyer gets an unpaid item strike.

On a standard transaction, FVF aren't charged until the buyer pays so there's nothing to refund in that area.

The only potential refund that could be triggered is an ad fee for promoted listings standard.

Well that’s what I’m wondering about this is an old item I’m wondering if it affects the payment as it’s been paid and the page for this says payment processed and has been made available for pay out and if I can it must be on the pc or before it’s shipped because this is shipped and paid I just can’t tell because of the volume of orders that were made that week if it was gone to shipping labels or if I just didn’t receive pay and no I wasn’t trying to leave a note to self it says I marked it the day it sold  I just noticed yesterday tought it was a glitch or that I w imagined it but no it’s been 5 days  I went on my store orders on my store and we’re I post new items . Ig the question is would that make it to we’re eBay dosent send my payment ?

I can share screenshots if it helps the question but no the item is shipped and it says it’s payed . This was on the 15 again I’m not saying I didint  get paid the customer did pay I’m wondering how it works on eBays side or why was it there to begin with if it was payed. So I’m hoping it doesn’t effect anything

Well apparently if you click that by accident they take half of like 9 out of your pay

to 14.49 but I may be wrong  this is why i switched to shipping labels but  if that’s the pay it’s rediculous oh well thanks for the answers
