I sold a ps3 controller too cheap

Not sure if this is the right place but I just wanted to vent. 

I mostly sell clothing, but I have some original dualshock used ps3 controllers. I sold one of them with usb cable for 10 dollars + 5 shipping. I set my price based on other listings which I later realized where not dualshock controllers.

I found out I could've gotten at least 25 bucks with free shipping, but still ,lost like 10 bucks 😞

Well this was a $10 lesson.. It could have been much worse.

Now you know to check what others are selling for and remember just because an item is listed for X does not mean it sells for X. Always check SOLD items that are comparable..

But hey, yours sold so at least there's that..

@poroscarodr. I made a similar mistake with collectible horse figurines.    They really would have sold for more if had id them better.  It happens,  we all pay our "eBay tuition " but still smarts to think about it.   

As you can tell from my id it's not my normal thing to sell.

You are talking to a guy who once sold an item and didn't package it well, the item had one very small dent but I got an INAD. It was also my second sale here lmao. We all make mistakes. Think of it this way though. Next time, you learned something new on how to make a good profit!

@whattheactualfox.   Now if you want to cry with me hubby sold his earlier Amazing Spider-Man comics in the 80s for about 8k. At the time we needed the money.   Now that bunch would sell for about a million.  😭

And people complain that ebay is greedy and wants more money. Seems that is what we all want.
