I see some sellers have the full contact info in the selling template, etc.
I thought we weren't supposed to do that.
Anyone know the answer to whether or not it's OK?
And, if not, how do we report a violation?

The ebay publishing contact info policy does not tell the whole story. Some sellers are allowed to post their phone numbers in their listings. The phone number is always in the ask seller a question area, never just openly displayed in the description.
How ebay decides which sellers get to put their phone numbers in is a mystery. I'm one of the ones allowed, possibly because I complained to Griff many years ago about being unjustly accused of taking a sale off ebay.

Publishing or displaying contact information in a listing without the permission of eBay, or except as required by law, is not allowed.

OK. I guess I have permission.

In some countries, like the UK, a business must include their contact information. Here on the dot com site, it is a policy violation.
To report a violation, go to the Report This Item link on the listing page of the item in question, then follow the prompts. On a laptop, the link is found on the far right side of the page, just above the description field. In the app, you just need to scroll down the listing page and click on the blue box when it comes up. Good luck.

This is yet another example of how the eBay rules do not apply to every seller... they get to pick & choose when to enforce the rules... some sellers get a break, some don't. Reporting rule breakers is a waste of time, as more often than not, nothing happens.

FYI You responded to a thread that is 2 years old ... not that there's anything wrong with that.
