I'm tired of not getting feedback.

More often than not I do not receive any feedback. It doesn't help my credibility as a seller any. 

To that end I'd like to suggest that any sale where the buyer doesn't leave feedback after 90 days should automatically increase my feedback rating by 1.  Why do sellers have to suffer for the laziness or ineptness of the buyer?

Is that what you think about your buyers, you know, the buyers who were not too lazy or inept to buy from you?

Feedback is voluntary, no one, including you have to leave it....not ever.

Besides, you have lots of feedbacks for buying and selling, and your feedback percentage is 100%, and that is great, keep it that way if you can..

Always love your perspective, Madison!  As you say, buyers weren't too inept or lazy to buy from the OP.  

I understand the OP's frustration but it's not something you can control.  It's voluntary.

That is a HUGE leap!  Absolutely the OP's outlook on buyers leaves a lot to be desired, but beyond that the OP has a very good point being a new seller or a returning seller after a long period of time away.  There are things that are driven partly by FB received that are VERY important to sellers.  This may not be stuff you are aware of, but that doesn't make them any less important.

There is NOTHING on the OPs account that suggests she is "tired of not getting positive feedback" because the flip side of that would be that they are getting negs or neutrals, which clearly they aren't.

Many seasoned sellers will tell you that getting FB is just not important to sellers anymore.  And that is TRUE for sellers that have enough FB that shows they are established.  The same is just NOT true for those starting out.

Most buyers do not live and breathe eBay like sellers. They need something, they buy it, they get it, they are done. They only return to eBay when they need something else. I have bought several hundreds of items on Amazon. I have never left feedback though I keep getting requests. I only do it on eBay because eBay is a big part of my life. If it was not, chances are good I would not leave feedback either.

Absolutely true, buyers just don't feel the urgency that a seller might feel where feedback is concerned.  They want to buy, and just want the item to be as described, and received in a timely fashion.  Even if happy, they may not leave any, but it may be they were unhappy but aren't inclined to make an issue of it.

You don't want to poke those who are graciously overlooking problems by requiring an unwarranted, automatic feedback that assumes all was well.

we get a low %age return of feedback on our accounts.

To avoid the buyers that will leave a  (-) for not getting their meaningless feedback we leave feedback shortly after shipping.

We have enough feedback. Don't need anymore, but I do see it as a valid area of concern for a new seller. Hang in there. Sell some more stuff. Feedback will come.

Some buyers buy as a guest. Not going to see any feedback from them.

Right! No feedback from guest buyers. There were probably a lot of guest buyers in the fourth quarter, holiday buying.

While this may very well be true.  The issue is not only happening in the 4th quarter of any year.  It is year around without much if any changes.

You can turn off those FB reminders from Ebay from your Site Preferences.

I just checked in my site preferences and don't see a way to turn off the FB reminders. The only email that Ebay sends that I can turn off or on is the one that is a payment reminder. All the rest of them have no options on them like the Yes and No button on the payment reminder.

It would be nice to be able to turn it off because sometimes I think it does annoy a buyer who just hasn't gotten around to leaving feedback.

The other person was talking about receiving FB reminders [not sending them to the buyers].  Sellers can't turn off the FB reminders going to a buyer, but a buyer can turn off receiving the FB reminders.

When you are in your Site Preferences, look on the left side of your screen. 

Click on Communication Preferences.

Go down to the section called Feedback and adust the settings to what you want them to be.

Don't forget to save the settings.
