I'm still within my 50 free listings but before submitting I notice 2.00 fee

Why would that be? I didn't submit the listing because I don't understand why the fee charge is 2.00 and not zero like usual. I've done nothing different or added any extras.

I see that I have 43 more free listings this week so what's the deal with charging me 2.00?

Thanks in advance for any help.

@sweetteagirl

Check to see if ebay has defaulted to any of the ebay "extras"

There have been reports that others have seen this happen to them.

Here's a link to eBay fees:  http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/storefees.html

Scroll down the page and look for the section entitled: " Optional advanced listing upgrade fees" - you may have inadvertently opted into one of those.

Also, you do realize you receive 50 free listings A MONTH not per week, right?   Just asking since you said "you had 43 more free listings this week"   in your original post.

Click the exclamation point next to fees. It tells you to click on the amount.

When you click the amount, you will see the fee breakdown and you can go back and remove whatever is causing the fees.

Re: I'm still within my 50 free listings but before submitting I notice 2.00 fee

@sweetteagirl eBay can be a little wonky. Two things from my experience which may or may help you:  One, I was charged for an extra on a listing for  "bold listing" which I did not choose but somehow was checked to "on".  Check over your draft and be sure that is not also the case for you.  Second, I've seen charges showing sometimes when I know for certain I haven't selected any extras and then when I hit the final submit button it shows $0.00 when it didn't before I did the final submit.

Happy 2018! May this upcoming year be a prosperous one!

Thanks everyone! I got it figured out. Enlarged pic on search (small check box) was checked.
