I get so frustrated waiting for EBay's page to load that I just close the site. I want to search and buy items but it's hard for me to watch the page take forever to load up, and when it does every item I review takes a long time to load not just the initial page. I have gone to other selling sites because if they do not care about me enough to fix the server problem I will buy elsewhere. Sorry Sellers.

Well, can't argue with your choice.......
But when I get that kind of problem, I try a couple of things....
Clear cache
Restart the browser,
Try a different browser
do a reboot
Something usually works.......
and most of the browsers have ad blocks of some kind that work pretty well.........

I run linux so the windows cache/cookies/reboot dance doesn't do anything and I've been seeing the same thing. I don't have the fastest connection and yesterday, at the top of the search results was a blank space with the designer name, ok. BUT 45 seconds later it had STILL not finished loading cause they put a black 'banner' thing with a small pic and a 'shop now' button.
The little pic was only a couple k but the freaking javascript behind it was the slow **bleep**. The banners is directing me to shop at someplace on pulsar.ebay.com - I loaded that link into a browser that does not allow graphics/javascript/java/cookies/nuttin - and THAT took another 45 seconds to load - WITH NO GRAPHICS. When it finally chugged in, I was at ebay's
DESIGNER COLLECTIVE DESIGNERS Email Sign-up
BUY DIRECT FROM BRANDS YOU LOVE
FREE SHIPPING AND GUARANTEED RETURNS
So now they're putting bloated slow honkin' ads at the TOP of our search results.

me too but when trying to list things or tweak a listing to make it sell better. I have a $2,000ish PC all clean and running top specs, it's ebays server. take a look at ebays stock. it tanked. They are liek going down the tubes. I have so many issues with this website but none elsewhere (except $2,000 computer can't play youtube sometimes but they seemed to have fixed that). I am too used to IE to feel I have to change to chrome to use a website that isn't built correctly.

No sorry they are not going down the tubes :).. they have certain power sellers that prefer them and hence keep them going.
Next sorry to say it but both IE and Chrome are both bad choices.. try Opera and your pages will load much faster and it's not exactly hard to download and click install :). It also depends on your connection.. ebay can have the fastest server in the world but if your uplink is delivered on old copper wire you not getting there fast no matter how tricked out your CPU is. ISPs also pay to connect to various third party pipes to deliver data and it only takes one of those third party providers to be lagging to ruin the party for everyone.

OP,
I suspect there are plenty of users like me who have no issues browsing the site that they really do not care.
I have no doubt that eBay has logging that monitors the time a page takes to complete loading; it can be done with one line of code.
Unlucky
