Help! I have several items that have sold, but eBay says "buyer hasn't paid yet." eBay also has an order number listed and says "payment sent (date) via PayPal." There is no information regarding the transaction in PayPal. I have contacted the buyers and they say they have paid. I'm confused.

have you verify is there any transaction record listed in your paypal account?
Is that possible you have been hacked in your ebay account and diverted the payment to another paypal account in the preference setting? Can you double check to your preference setting?

Have a look at those listings that sold and check to make sure the email address shown for payment is 100% correct (matches your PayPal account.)
Is there is an error there then the payment will show as "pending" at the buyers end and won't show up in your account at all.

Thanks for the reply. There is nothing listed in the PayPal account. No record of the transaction at all.
My PayPal account seems to be connected to my eBay and even verified the email address. Initially the email was incorrect, but even since I've entered the correct email, nothing has changes and even more recent sales seem to be running into the same issue.

Thanks for the reply. How do I check the email address on the listings for items that sold?

I think I recall somethings.
The paypal email address of your buyer preference is NOT equal to the paypal email address of your seller preference. If I recalled it correctly back to day one of my setup years ago as a seller. You have to reach ebay support to associate your paypal address as a seller once. Please call or email to your ebay support.

Thanks for that suggestion! I'll definitely contact them to see if that's the case!

This is not likely the issue at all.

You are a new seller. It is so important to do a bit of research before you jump in and start selling. Just like any other job you may have had in your life, training is required. Had you of done your research, you would have known that Ebay has PP hold money on new sellers. It is a good policy to help ensure that new sellers do their job and ship their items to their buyers.
You still need to ship your items within your state handling time on the purchases. You can verify that your payments are in your PP account, actually you should always do that before shipping, but you will see that for now they are on hold.
Below are some links of some reading you should do. You may need to read it a few times to learn it all. But it is very important information. Then after you've done that, come on back and ask your questions as I'm sure you will have some. It is a learning process we all had to go through and you will be just fine. You just need to do some homework to help you right now.

If he was dealing with a hold on his funds (as a new seller), wouldnt he still see the transaction in the PP account? The OP said that there was nothing in the summary at all. It does sound to me like an address mistake.
YMMV.

It is likely the can, but being new they don't think it is there because it isn't in the $$ available. My guess is they just need to take a closer look with fresh eyes. It is a mistake many new sellers make.
