I sold a painting for $4500 and ebay took $500. They kept the $4000 on hold for a month. The hold is up today and I can't find how to get the money. I am a returning seller. They have not credited my account on file and I need my money. How can I make sure that I will get the money. I saw somewhere online that the funds are available but there are no payouts scheduled. Can someone walk me through this so I can get my money?

My guess is it will scheduled tomorrow. Which means if you signed up for Managed Payments and if eBay has verified your bank account your funds should be in your bank by Friday. If they have not you won’t get your money until account has been verified.

If eBay has your bank information they will send it out today or tomorrow. Depend on your banks policies on crediting deposits it will usually take 1 to 3 business days to post in your account.
The bigger banks I.e. Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase and etc. will usually be quicker as they are directly online with the Federal Reserve bank. Smaller banks and credit unions usually take longer. For example the deposit eBay initiated this morning will be available in my Wells Fargo account tomorrow morning.

you need to be signed up with eBay's Managed Payments system, here is the link for that info>

Your Pay pal account is useless.
You need a checking account with a bank in your own country.
You need to sign up for Managed Payments.
MP will need you to identify yourself. This is your SSN or ITIN number for US residents.
All your identification must match. If your SSN says John Jacob Jinglehiemer Smith, your bank account and your eBay account must also say John Jacob Jinglehiemer Smith, not JJJ Smith or John Smith or JohnJJ Smith.
When MP is set up the money which is being Held will be transferred to your checking account.
It is beyond annoying that eBay does not tell new and returning sellers that they cannot sell get paid without an active Managed Payments account.

Read this carefully: There is no one here on this Board who can help you get your money.
We are all fellow eBayers. We have no access to your account information and we cannot make your payment show up in your bank any faster. That info was given to you to read so that you could understand how Managed Payments works, especially for new sellers.

The first question question is are you set up with managed payments?
Then we can delve deeper into what the hold up might be - it could be anything from your bank account has not been verified to you have been defaulted into once a week payouts and your payment will not even be transmitted to your bank until that day plus any lag time between the various banks involved.
