The rules say I can upload a .mov file, which is what my camera uses for video. I make sure it is under the 150 mb size.
Yet, the video is rejected due to invalid type. The .mov type is listed as acceptable, but they reject it.
I'm not great at tech stuff - I'm too old to have any idea what to do. I don't think I can tell my camera to make it a different format - the user manual doesn't address choosing a format. It is going to make a .mov no matter what I prefer.
So is there some way I can either tell eBay to accept the format they say they'll accept (ha ha ha to that idea)?
Or is there a way I can save it on the computer before loading it to my listing, in a different format? "Save as", for example?
I don't often use video in my listings, but when it is an item that I'm testing and it works, I want to prove that it works. Video game, electric or battery operated thing, whatever - I like to show that it lights up or makes sound or whatever the case may be.
Thank you to anybody who can help me in plain English, not geek speak.

There are a lot of variations that can happen within a file type like .mov. I’m pretty sure eBay also accepts .mp4 videos, so I would see if you could convert it and try that. If “Save As” doesn’t offer that option on your computer, try a Google search for mov to mp4 converter and there should be a number of online converters available.
