I’m done with eBay. A rant

eBay is the worst, I will never sell on it again. 

So recently I’ve acquired some things to sell for a friend. I’ve been a member since 2009 with 100% feedback. One of the items I sold the buyer claimed the item was damaged in shipping. I knew I was going to have problems with this buyer from the get go as the shipping address was a warehouse and seemed kind of shady. I told him to send me photos of it damaged. The photos didn’t prove anything. Of course ebay sided with him because that’s the way it works. He asked me to give him a partial refund which I wouldn’t. He was obviously trying to scam me. I provided a return label and he never shipped it back. Case closed. It’s comical how long ebay gives buyers to send things back. 

Second, I recently sold a Briggs and Riley bag to a lady. She received it and claimed it was counterfeit. She gave me my first negative feedback ever, without even contacting me. I told her the bag was not counterfeit and provided her the original receipt of purchase directly from Briggs and Riley. She still didn’t believe me. eBay completely sided with her and now I’m stuck with the negative feedback and paying for return shipping. 

What a joke. eBay is just a free for all where any buyer can claim anything and they always will be in the right. It’s a cesspool of scammers, and dishonesty. On top of that the eBay fees are ridiculous. I’m just done with it. Never again. That’s my rant.

Because everyone is aware of and on the lookout for counterfeit $200+ bags. Most people assume that a $75 bag wouldn't be counterfeit and so never actually bother to check, which makes it easy to pass it off as real and get away with it.

item to a buyer. This buyer beg me to end the bid so I did.  The item was listed not work. Part only and no refund.  The idiot the buy claimed I didn’t describe it, right. It was there in black and white. Two people from eBay said I did need to refund because it was not an error in my part.   Then eBay said I need to refund the money since the no longer want it. **bleep**. Is this Amazon.  So I’m out the cost of ending a bid l, the cost of shipping back to me.  Plus  the full refund.  
after 22 years with eBay never again. Stew eBay.  Face book market place from now on.

Can I ask where you will sell?  I want to leave eBay also due to them letting  scammers( buyers) take hundreds of dollars and not getting my original item back but something the scammer sent.   I am so angry and frustrated!!  And feel so powerless.

I will never sell on eBay Ever again. I just sold a beautiful condition Louis Vuitton backpack because I don’t use it that much but it was my personal backpack and it is beautiful. I shipped it to the authenticator with Insurance. The authenticator shipped it right to the buyer, and the buyer must’ve had remorse even before she received it because she put wrong description with it she said it smelled like smoke. The zippers didn’t work. I had spots on it. It was faded. She said everything and I couldn’t believe it and I was so worried that I wasn’t gonna get my original bag back. So I had to wait for it to go through the authenticator again and back to me. I received the bag today, And it is My bag what a relief. I am opening the box and inside the Louis Vuitton box and It’s dust cover is my beautiful backpack and beautiful condition. Shiny like new zippers are perfect. No smell whatsoever which I was worried about that. It would have a smell because of the fire is going on out west and that’s where this Buyers, remorse lady resides. I’m closing my account and I’m moving all my stuff to a more reputable place that actually compares description and authenticity. Ebay absolutely sucks and I’ll never buy or sell from them ever in my life. The rules are terrible and I realize that sometimes when I use the site, they don’t have anything anymore. They used to have everything hundreds of everything now they have crap and now I know why it’s because they screw their sellers. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the  trash of online shopping and I won’t be a part of it anymore.

How did an item that went through the authenticator get returned to a seller that "does not accept returns" ?
