Did you mean:

I know it’s small potatoes to most of you but

I’ve had 22 sales and $434 in the last 60 days.  Now compared to years ago, it’s nothing but these days it’s great for me. GTC, offers and even auctions. Yay me!!

No rudeness please! I’m ill and disabled so getting out if bed is a win for me nowadays. I won’t say who but someone here likes to comment on my prices, “low” quality items and number of listings when they have no idea how hard it is for me to even sit up.

Oh and I made a couple hundred dollars on other sites. Have a great day!

When my sales are down, I list more.  Some days I'm happy to not have sales.  it give me time to take pictures, write up listings and be ready to list a whole lot more.

You've got some really nice stuff. Too bad the Megadeth T won't fit me or you'd be up to 23 sales lol

I have actually been heard to mutter "Thank god it's a slow sales day" = )

I hope you have a great day too! I'm sitting here wondering if it's worth paying $35 to be a no show at physical therapy in 45 minutes. They don't know what to do with me when I say "Nope, not doing that today. Nope, not that either." (Not a new knee or hip, bulging disc that they can't do anything about. I insisted on PT because my legs are getting weak, but on bad pain days just leave me alone!)

This brings to mind two things:

Matt.7. [1] Judge not, that ye be not judged. [2] For with what judgment ye judgeye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. [3] And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

“Judge Softly”

“Pray, don’t find fault with the man that limps,
Or stumbles along the road.
Unless you have worn the moccasins he wears,
Or stumbled beneath the same load.

There may be tears in his soles that hurt
Though hidden away from view.
The burden he bears placed on your back
May cause you to stumble and fall, too.

Don’t sneer at the man who is down today
Unless you have felt the same blow
That caused his fall or felt the shame
That only the fallen know.

You may be strong, but still the blows
That were his, unknown to you in the same way,
May cause you to stagger and fall, too.

Don’t be too harsh with the man that sins.
Or pelt him with words, or stone, or disdain.
Unless you are sure you have no sins of your own,
And it’s only wisdom and love that your heart contains.

For you know if the tempter’s voice
Should whisper as soft to you,
As it did to him when he went astray,
It might cause you to falter, too.

Just walk a mile in his moccasins
Before you abuse, criticize and accuse.
If just for one hour, you could find a way
To see through his eyes, instead of your own muse.

I believe you’d be surprised to see
That you’ve been blind and narrow-minded, even unkind.
There are people on reservations and in the ghettos
Who have so little hope, and too much worry on their minds.

Brother, there but for the grace of God go you and I.
Just for a moment, slip into his mind and traditions
And see the world through his spirit and eyes
Before you cast a stone or falsely judge his conditions.

Remember to walk a mile in his moccasins
And remember the lessons of humanity taught to you by your elders.
We will be known forever by the tracks we leave
In other people’s lives, our kindnesses and generosity.

Take the time to walk a mile in his moccasins.”

Basically, don't judge until you have walked a mile in the other man's (or woman's) moccasins.

Congratulations on your sales, and your persistence in the face of adversity!

Just to let you know that you are not alone in the 'getting out of bed' issue.  Just like a couple of other posters on this thread, it is not always easy to get up the energy to list more.  Not only am I getting older but getting closer to being in a wheel chair.

And whoever has the poor manners or crassness to criticize your listings, etc.,  I hope they grow boils some place where it will hurt.

Unless a poster asks for help with their listings, anyone who thinks it is their job to tell others how to list, is just plain rude.

Of course, people dis-agree on these boards and that is perfectly acceptable and wanted.  But to tell others how to run their business is just not classy.

COYOTES RULE!!!

Patricia, your statement about being put down has resonated with me, and I am so sorry you have health issues and had those comments leveled at you.

Sadly, people often judge when they don't have the facts, or believe hearsay that is not true, and they often give no thought to others.  They may fail to see that their behavior is wrong while attributing that behavior to others.

Often a good look in the mirror might benefit greatly, however...

In any case, this happens in life~again, sadly~people let us down, disappoint us, hurt us.  I'm just sorry those comments hurt you.

Sorry to hear you have these issues and I wish you weren't.

I agree, people can disagree on the Boards.  It is to be expected; different viewpoints, different experiences, standards, feelings, etc; many things come into play that define who we are and what we stand for.

As long as we treat each other kindly and respectfully, we can disagree and I think most wouldn't have any problems under those circumstances.

I can relate.

I just moved back home to a house the renters trashed, and have a full time plus plus plus job.

I’m small beans myself at the moment, too wrapped up in the teaching job, but that consistent $400-500/month sure helps me power through the repairs. It’s a big time important boost to my income.
