Not only are some repetitve many have nothing to do with the item you are selling or will they let you put in the correct value for your item. What do you do if you have an item manufactured longer than the time periods they give you.

Agree, as a seller, the better descriptions you provide on an item helps in selling process. However, these item specific certainly take a lot of time to enter and some are rather repetitive. Besides, with eBay's MBG. it doesn't matter how specific you are with the description, buyer claim will always win in their favor against seller, so, why exactly do I need to bother? It defeats the whole purpose.

Do they know when you list a dinner plate that width, dimension and length are all the same stupid number?
And why ask where it's made if you are going to delete the answer? It's Lenox, it says made in Japan. No, that's not what eBay says. So fix it.
And while I'm on the subject, stop asking me to fill out surveys.

No, it is not an improvement...it is a nightmare. I am waiting for the day when a buyer files a NAD case against me because in the specifics, it states diamonds. You know how some buyers are...they read what they want, if at all. It asked me 3 times what was the shape of the stone, cut and clarity, how many prongs are in the setting, what is the clarity of the stone. It's a pearl bracelet. I also have others with different stones and it's the same stupid specifics categories. I feel your pain.

In full agreement. Wasting our time. Giving me a headache and I'm putting on fewer new items as a result.
