I have a buyer’s account, should I create a new to sell item?

I want to sell an item on eBay and I don’t understand if I have to create a new account as a seller, I already have one as a buyer.

     That is more of a personal decision than it is an eBay requirement. That is unless your country has some specific rules/laws regarding ecommerce selling. A lot of sellers/buyers have a single account and some even use the same account to post on this board. Conversely there are people who have 1 or more buyer accounts, 1 or more seller accounts and separate accounts for posting on this board. 

     It probably depends on a number of factors like how much you intend to sell, whether you want the accounts separated for business purposes or simply for disassociation. A lot of people seem to prefer having a separate account for posting on this board simply to avoid any possible retribution from somebody who may not have liked something they posted.

I have tried to use my buyer’s account to sell an item and it can not be verified. That was the reason I asked the community.

I have always regretted not having a separate account. I will go a step farter a third account for these boards. I just live with it now at this point.

Those days are becoming less and less due to selling on different platforms.

I have always been concerned about retaliatory behavior towards my comments etc. I have no proof that it has occurred . Also, to keep business and personal transactions separate. I do so little anymore on eBay, it isn't difficult to keep things straight. IF I was ever to get back to a high volume of transactions I might consider a second buyer account.

You have an account.  Ebay makes no distinction between a "buyer" or a "seller" account. 

You do have to go through some additional steps in order to sell, those have been outlined by others.

Personally, I think all accounts should be verified, it would sure stop a bunch of the scammy shanigans we have to deal with. 

I don't think making another account will make much difference if you can't verify this account.

Ok. Now it is clear. Yes, of course. My account is verified and I have 5 stars. I don’t understand why I have to go through a verification process again. I am receiving a message that the account can not get verified, when it is already verified. 
I couldn’t find an agent available to help me solve it.

EBAY no longer uses PAY PAL for their money management here in USA.  All SELLERS are required to enroll in the new MANAGED PAYMENTS (money is deposited into your bank checking account).   

Contact another seller in Greece and ask them steps you need to enroll as a Seller.

When you are selling on ebay you do have to create a seller’s account.

Here are the steps to setting up a seller account:

1. Go to "Sell" at the top of most eBay pages, and sign in or select "create an account".

2. On the following page, you'll be asked to create a listing for the item you'd like to sell. 3. Once you've completed the listing, you'll be asked to provide some additional details so we can enable your account for selling.

At this stage, you'll need the following: - Personal or business information, and - Current bank account details Sellers are required to add a bank account in order to receive payouts. There are no standing charges for being a seller on eBay; you'll only pay fees when you list and sell items. Also, you may be asked to complete an identity verification process for security purposes.
