I had a sell with insufficient payment, how's that happened?

This is the first time I've met this situation:

The item I'm selling is $5.99, I didn't make any promotion on this. Today the item got a sale and I shipped it immediately since it's in ebay "awaiting shipment" transactions. However, I just realized I only received $3 payment for it, I also checked paypal and confirmed that. I'm not sure what happened, and I searched all ebay's help page but couldn't find any topic related, I don't even know how to contact ebay about this since none of the options in the "contact us" page fits the situation.

Is there someone else had the same problem before? I've uploaded 2 screenshots for it.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Wow, that is extremely strange!  And the $3 sale price doesn't show in the item's purchase history.

Thanks for your reply, I didn't notice that! I've been selling on eBay for a long time but I've never seen this before, now I'm worried about the safty of selling on eBay..

You can call eBay Customer Service if you want to.  The number is not allowed to be posted here, but you can google it.

The OP is in China so calling eBay is not feasible.  However, we can flag @heidi@ebay to look at this "glitch" and report it to the tech department.

Thanks everyone for looping us in! I haven't seen this issue before and I'd love the opportunity to look into it to see what's happening here. 

@easywayelc - I'm going to be reaching out to you via the email address on file with your posting ID for more information. I'll be able to look into the specifics there and see if we can get to the bottom of this. Keep an eye out for that and get back to me when you have the chance.
