I guess I need to promote

Walked past a shelf in my shop and saw a Crankshaft laying there.  Wondered why it had not sold?
I go to MY listings and search MY listings for "crankshaft" and it's not there.
I go to into My eBay/Active listings and see that it is listed (along with another of the same, just different year.
SO, I now know I have two of these listed.  Go back to my store, search my listings for Polaris RZR 800 Crankshaft, and nothing.
I go to main ebay search.
Polaris RZR 800 Crankshaft,  Switch to used, Sort lowest to highest....mine are not showing up.
I then switch to "see more results"...still not there.

Not going to be easy to sell these if they can't be found.
I guess I must promote in order to even be seen

     Using the advance eBay search and searching on "Polaris RZR 800 Crankshaft" exact words any order, Used, US Only, Price + shipping lowest first I see both of your listings.

The 1st time you came to eBay, looking for something, is that how you searched?

A lot of new buyers come to Ebay to look for 1 certain item.

If Ebay would fix the search engine, they might be able to find what they are looking for.

Yep, sold a crankshaft yesterday to a new user with zero feedback. 
It appears you get my point.
When I search, I search using the same method that I assume MOST eBay shoppers do.  
I ran a legitimate simple search, and flat out could not find two of my listings. 
NOT even switching to Nearest 1st.
I couldn't even find them searching MY own Store.
    I just don't think I should have to send messages to everybody on eBay telling them my password so they cam search in my Active Items section of my account.

I added the price range so they are the only results, but if I remove the price range, they are still there in that search, even without using the "see more results" link:

It appears you have made some recent title revisions, so perhaps that has made a difference.

Just because eBay is doing everything in its power to sell a promoted item instead of yours, even if a potential buyer clicks on your item, doesn't mean your item can't be purchased. 🙄

For this particular item, it looks like promoting would increase your odds of selling. 

Just did default search for "RZR 800 Crankshaft".

- Your item was #20 in search.

- 7 of the listings before yours were "Sponsored"

- In position 8 was a horizontal insertion of 8 sponsored listings titled "Picked for You Top selling items from highly rated sellers with free shipping" (all sponsored)

- I only counted position 8 once, so there were actually 14 sponsored listings before yours

When I click and go to your item page I see a picture of your item on the left with the item title, price and buy now button on the right.

Just below your pictures and before "About this item" and "Shipping, returns, and payments" I see 2 horizonal rows of sponsored ads. One is titled "Similar items", the other is titled "Explore related items". Those two sections have 17 sponsored ads to see before I can see the details for your item (About this item and shipping). Also, each section has a "See all" link that takes me to a new page of sponsored items.
