I found so many violations going back through last year.

So today I came across a bunch of violations for animal products, under turtle jewelry I have sold, but they never sent any policy violations on them to me, do you think maybe live people caught them first? Seeing that bots doing the violating process, very strange and so glad I wasn't hit with all of them...there is about 25 of them for turtle jewelry.

You might want to check this page for your policy violations >> Policies

To find it click Help and Contact see image below. Policy violations will be listed for the past 90 days.

eBay doesn't send you messages you just see those listings with policy violations in your unsold page with a red banner saying something about policy violation.

@inhawaii

I believe those are the OPs violations.

@inhawaii

I am under the impression that the OP found these notices on their own account, but never got notification of any such violation.  It looks like a bot flagging the word "turtle".  From the screen shot, it looks like the violation was for selling animal products though the products were likely jewelry.   Silver metal earrings in the shape of a turtle are not violations.

@atlasesattic

What do you see when you click on "View Details"?

Maybe I should start reading these things before posting.   😉

Are you actually selling turtle parts? Or is this a stone in the shape of a turtle? If it's the latter, it sounds like a dumb bot at work.

I went to that page, and it only gave me a maximum of 60 days.

I thought it was a sarcastic comment... (I read inhawaii's reply below). That's kind of funny.

OK, that's kind of what I thought you were selling... I sell jewellery too (just a little bit here). But so far my "animals" haven't been flagged by the bots.

If you have policy violations on your account (with the link above), I'd reach out to eBay on FB (someone will be along shortly to share the link) and ask to have those removed because they are not "parts of turtles". Thus not a violation.

I wouldn't call eBay or speak to a CSR or chatbot, because they aren't too bright. I had one arguing with me that my Oman banknote was "kind of like Iran" therefore it was a violation and had to be removed. I tried to explain Oman is a separate different country that isn't being sanctioned and the bonehead that I was speaking with would hear none of it. My posse tells me he's arguing all day with people who are actually violating policy and dancing around it, so this is his mode of answering all "I'm not violating policy" statements. eBay on FB removed the violation for the banknote, but I didn't relist it to be safe. I gave it to a friend as a gift (he collects notes and I got it when I was in Oman).

Links for you:

Use the blue message button on this page:

https://www.facebook.com/eBay/

Or you can use either of these:

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

https://x.com/askebay

Do let us know what you find out.  If those listings were not pulled/ended by eBay, I suspect what you may be seeing is just part of a bot notice of sorts.  With that many REAL violation notices there is a good chance you would be suspended ALREADY.
