I can't figure out how to make a multi-item listing

I have 8 pins that are made by the same company but different designs.  I want to list them where people have a choice of which item they want, this listing is an example of what I want to do but I can't figure out how to do it!  Can someone please help me or point me in the right direction?  Thank you!

Here's the listing title to search:  Vintage Preschool Toys Musical, Push n Pull, FP, Disney, Tomy+ Collect or Play

ETA:  What I want to do is like in the above listing, under "condition" is "description" and you can then select which item you want.

What category are you trying to list in? Not all categories have the option to make a MQ variation listing.

Start a new listing, you'll see a button under the category called "Create Variations"- Don't use sell similar.

I notice they've expanded the MV categories.

I also notice they've made a total dog's dinner of the help pages. What was so bad about the A-Z index?

I thought this site explained it very well.

Skip over identical items to variations.  It cannot be done in every category.

Thank you all for your help, I think the problem was I did try to list using "sell similar" and I didn't realize that it had populated to Auction from the previous item.  So now I see the Variations area, hopefully I will be able to figure it out from here, thanks again all! 😄

Hi, I did see the Ebay Help Page and followed it but yeah, it was my own mistakes that were the reason I couldn't get it to work lol... but I'm happy to announce that I was able to list successfully so thanks again all!

Yea sadly it seems that eBay doesn't really like to fix glitches that pop up for MV listings. A few of us have to figure out workarounds to make it work. Not fun though. Oh well.

My two cents;

don't set a MV listing as GTC (good 'til canceled)

when listing expires and you go to relist it CAREFULLY hand count how many of each item you have left, sometimes it relists with all of the original quantity including ones you've SOLD!

each time you relist count very carefully - again
each time you relist count very carefully - AGAIN
each time you relist - well, you know the drill now 😞

Why, oh why would you do that??

MV and regular multi-qty listings are what GTC was made for.

If an Item is selling, it is better to have a sales history than to have the listing be "zero sold" every 30 days 😞

Plus, all that counting and recounting is just begging to cause you to make a mistake and go OOS on something 😞

I've only just started using them again and assumed that GTC was the way to go as allegedly it not only keeps the correct qty but also the sales history.

I've never had a problem with GTC listings having a wrong qty.

The only times you should have to adjust are: Returns, Cancels, Replacements and Restock.

(Or if you are bigdeals, substitutions and order adjustments made for buyers who can't figure out how MV listings work LOL)

If you are paranoid about quantity control (or even just as good inventory management), you can "cycle count".

I pull one container off of a shelf every week. I check it against my inventory and against the listing. I check for damage (I sell fragiles), count and physical location. I mark my inventory with the date counted. The next week, I pull the next container ... and so on.

I find things that were mis-shelved every once and a while ... before they sold and I have to panic 😉

I have heard there can be glitches when revising MV listings (like all photos getting wiped etc). If a variation is all sold does the listing retain those as OOS when it renews or do you have to re add that variation back in if you get more stock?
