I don’t have a store, just regular listings, so how do I let people know I have to evacuate due to the hurricane and can’t accept orders for a while?

You can end all of your Buy It Now listings (I did not see any auction listings active under your posting ID) or go to My Account>Site Preferences and enable the OOS (Out of Stock) feature. After the OOS feature is enabled, go in and bulk edit all of your listing quantities to 0. The items will stay active, renew as normal, but they will not be viewable in search and can not be purchased. Once things are back to normal, you can edit your listings again to show the correct quantities.
Stay safe, my thoughts are with you.

I would probably just end the listings early.

By the way, I'd be spending my time on hurricane preparations instead of worrying about eBay listings. Closing one's listings and relisting after the storm is a whole lot safer, I've found. Having lived through hurricanes as far back as DAVID, I do have some small amount of experience with them. Be safe and live to sell another day.

Be safe!! Will be keeping my fingers crossed that Dorian takes a turn away from Florida.

It appears that the latest tracks shows Dorian staying a little farther east than originally expected. Of course, these storms are usually quite wide so we'll probably have quite a lot of high winds and rain. I think that since I've already boarded up, I'll leave the plywood up a little while longer. Putting them up and taking them down is something of a pain.
