I've got about 70-100 postcards, mostly of beach town landscapes and views around the UK and Africa from 1920's to 1960's, each one different and almost all of them unsent. I can't figure out what sort of auction this would suit best, I'm guessing Buy It Now with a photo for every postcard in the drop down menu and listing it in the collectable postacard category but looking through that category at other people's listings not many seem to do that. Bit confused, any advice? Happy New Year.

I don't believe the Collectible postcard category allows for Variation listings, so a dropdown for each postcard cannot be done.
Unless you feel like doing 70-100 listings, I'd group them into smaller lots and list them that way.

No way!! Why on Earth is that the case? Thanks , that totally explains why I couldn't find listings that were doing that.
So I need to create lots? Can you still post individual pictures in a lot listing or just the standard 12 or whatever?
Thank you.

You do get 12 pictures per listing. How you do that is up to you.
I've only sold postcards a few times. I did about 12-20 per listing. Main picture showed all - additional pictures had 1, 2 or 3 per frame. I believe in showing exactly what the buyer gets. Those seller "I'll pick 25 for you" out of a mass of postcards just feels like a disaster waiting to happen.

If you have a good size scanner or use digital camera, you should be able to get good images of perhaps up to four in a scan or picture. So with 12 eBay pics, you could show up to 48 cards or so that would be included in that group. By scanning that way, your stack of postcards could become two good sized lots, or more if you just scanned two at a time, and your images would be roughly twice as large for your potential bidders viewing.
