How to stop fake sellers from listing on my UPC code?

Counterfeiters keep listing products and using my UPC code as their upc code so my reviews show up on their fake listing.

This also means that on my listing, it shows the fake products as "All listings for this product" or
"More options for this product" or  "3 new & refurbished from $11.89".

How to stop fake sellers from listing on my UPC code?

Since it's your item and you are the manufacturer, you need to sign up and become a VERO member.

Then you can nail all of the counterfeit sellers, provided ebay will actually do anything about the chinese fakes.

OP has stated that they’re already doing VERO.

These counterfeiters aren't buying them from me...they're making their own fake/cheap versions and simply listing them using my upc code.

ebay doesn't have a solution to "lock" a listing down to prevent fake/counterfeiters from selling fakes?!?!

I have a new fake on my listing today...they stole my images...listed under my upc code so to eBay customers it looks like they're buying my product with xxx reviews.

Probably because ebay told the chinese sellers that this is an item that they need to "make and sell".

Sure wish someone could get a list of what they send over there for that and when. If you found out that you were on that list, then ebay is complicit in the counterfeiting.

@d-k_treasures  The Asain manufactures can get the same info from third party companies that collect this info.  It is not some kind of exclusive thing only eBay can supply.

You should be glad that eBay is collecting some kind of revenue so your fees are not increased.  Also eBay is not giving any manufacture rights to trademarked items so not really sure why you are so stuck on this and seem to be suggesting the same?

Good Luck Selling!

Ebay flat out said they give the chinese hot selling items so they can 'produce' them to sell on here.

Great, so you can flat out provide a link to where they said that (NOT a link to where someone “interpreted” an eBay statement that didn’t say that).

That, or it’s bull.

They didn't exactly say that - they said they sent many to VERO and are waiting. Doesn't mean that they are a VERO member - yet. Someone else gave them the link for it.

It's a start.

We also wrote about an article in the Atlantic last year about another way eBay's activities in China is making it difficult for sellers elsewhere: eBay feeds Chinese manufacturers data about what people are searching for on eBay.com.

Devin Wenig, who was head of eBay Marketplaces at the time and is now eBay's chief executive officer, told the Atlantic, "We have a really big China export business to Europe and the United States. And they respond very, very quickly to consumer taste, whatever it might be. It's really remarkable to see how quickly the manufacturing base adapts to the demand signals they get."

The magazine explained that's why there is a huge "new vintage" manufacturing sector built around buyers' online searches, and the publication showed an image of an authentic 1960s Pan Am tote bag alongside a new "vintage style" counterpart, both available for sale on eBay.

Thank you, yes we just applied to be in the vero program....but we're not a member yet.

We've submitted many fakes in the last week and months to vero@ebay.com

My mind is blown how ebay sellers have such little protection...we just have to manually review and submit fakes...then it takes several days to remove them (we've been waiting 5+ days and counting for some) and new ones pop up before the old ones are taken down ;(
