How to share listings to get FVF credit?

Hi! A few months ago, I remember that Ebay had a new feature which allows a seller to easily share a link to your listings on social media... and that if someone (maybe your friend or social media follower) purchases the item through  your personal shared link (it works like a referral or affiliate link)... Ebay gives the seller back (part or all) of the seller fees... I think it was the Final Value Fee.

But now I can't figure out where the Share button might be... any help?

Where can I read up on this topic from Ebay?

Sharing Listings with Facebook Friends
  1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
  2. Click the Account tab.
  3. Click the Site Preferences link on the left side of the page.
  4. Click the Show link next to Share your eBay items with friends.
  5. Choose your preferences by clicking the appropriate links for Facebook or Twitter.

That first post was information copied that from Google.  I too can't find any link to a policy on Ebay.  Let me tag in one of the guys and maybe they can tell us.

I seem to recall a limited promotion last Spring for this type of deal.

Emphasis on the "limited" part.

No that is just to share any listing to friends or family via facebook , Twitter ,   email or pinterest.

And can be found on any listing  & won't earn you anything

loveyourimagination49 has got the right idea! Yep, that sounds exactly like the feature I'm looking for.

So.... Do you remember how to go do that type of sharing in Ebay, so that I can do it too?

Thanks! This isn't the exact program I was looking for... but if the other offer I wanted doesn't exist anymore... I guess this eBay Partner Network would be the next best thing to try.

Hi @pixelberrypie, the link to share on Social Media would be displayed when creating or revising the listing. If the seller revises their listing and the promotion is still available, a popup window will appear with more information and a unique link for that listing. The seller would then post this to their various Social Media platforms and as long as the buyer follows this link directly to purchase the item and all other eligibility qualifications are met, the seller would qualify for free Final Value Fees on that item.
