Hi, I am hoping that someone can assist me.
I sold an item a couple of days ago and when I packed the item as I put the address on the name and address details looked very familiar to me. The buyer has zero feedback. As long as he pays I don't care if he has a new user name etc but USUALLY I only remember such details if it was a problem buyer or left me negative feedback or something.
I searched my ebay sales the last 3 months (as far as ebay seems to allow) on BUYER NAME and nothing came up.
I don't want to waste a lot of time on holding the item while I dig for these details.
Does anyone know of another way to search this info ?
thank you

Not sure how much you sell, but you may want to download a report https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:PAID_SHIPPED
and sort by zip instead, since you suspect the address may be similar.

If it was before you went to managed payment, you could do a search on paypal for the name.
I also personally have started copying the transaction info (buyer's name address , phone #) in word so if I need to contact them. It's only available for a limited time and I found it useful when I needed to contact a past buyer. But then I'm a small seller, so easy for me to do.

We do download reports that we import into excel and go back and search thru those when we want to look for something like this. We also keep a "folder of shame" if it was really egregious and I want to remember why someone ended up on the BBL, etc.
If it is an expensive item, maybe use signature confirmation to ease your mind?

Sellers can cancel transactions, even paid transactions, as Problem With Address with no blowback.
In this case, the problem would be the previous Bad Transaction.
The refund should be automatic.

I leave feedback for the buyer every time I make a sale. If I want to see if a buyer is a returning customer, I just check his feedback.

Same here, except I don't keep a shame folder. Then, all I have to do is a search in each year's spreadsheet. Actually, helped me find a very similar situation a few months ago, when a buyer wanted to know why she was blocked. I couldn't figure it out, but then doing a search in the spreadsheet for 2 years ago, made it clear. The buyer had changed her ID, so it was really hard to figure out. I usually remember the problem buyers LOL.

I do the same with the f/b. The only problem is when you start to get up there in the amount of f/b left for others. I stopped counting at my 125th page of f/b left for others. LOL. I LOVE that ebay now gives us a glimpse of repeat customers in the last few years at least. That's great!

A) You should be able to click on View Listings after their name.
B) Perhaps you meant "what a seller has for sale'"?
C) The original message here is from June, 2021. Perhaps you would want to begin your own thread.
