Maybe so as placing blame seems to be important to some as long as it isn't on them.
IMHO "Paranoia" drives it because there is so much BAD information in the Community. When someone gets angry at Ebay for whatever reason, the make up things to back up how their feel. Facts don't seem to matter.

I have over 170 items promoted right now. Last month we did ok. This month is starting out slower than molasses. My stuff is popping up all over the place under the clicked listings that people look at and I MEAN all over the place. My views on the stuff have gone through the roof compared to when I did not use this at all but the sales from this are only mediocre. WHERE ARE THE CUSTOMERS, and why are they viewing but not buying. Are we all still so broke this year or what?

While the economy is doing great and our unemployment rate is so low, there are still people that have not financially recover from the two years we were pretty much shut down due to the Pandemic. That along with last years inflation rate came together to have our food and gas prices at rates so high it is very hard for many people. This is going to remain a problem IMHO until we start seeing those prices go down.
But once a big company gets use to those inflated prices, it isn't likely they will be reducing them.

From what I have seen with my stuff showing up very nicely with this is that people are still pinching pennies this year because with all the views and visibility I have with this right now this stuff should be selling a lot more. So my response to the original poster is, Yes, this will help but the customers have to be here and they have to have money.

Yes true for sure. That above anything else is the problem here this year.

Yeah, and some of the prices on things continue to go up. I used to buy a big bag of chicken thigh and leg quarters from a discount grocery place. I paid like 5.99 at the beginning of the year. Now they are up to 9.80. Come on!!! Just stop it!!!

Any sit down restaurant is also an unbelievable expense. I went to a small barbecue place while in the Asheville, NC area and spend about 38 dollars for a pulled pork platter and a pulled chicken sandwich and fries.

You only have 1 listing. I wouldn't use promoted listings just yet, you may need more sales before you can activate that feature. You're selling in a very over saturated market (clothing) We can get clothes like what you have for half the price here in the US and not have to wait weeks or months to receive them from Sri Lanka. Sell items that are unique and what people want. I would also consider attending the seller school:

Happy Selling

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I didn't mean for what I said to be all inclusive.
