How to mark an item sold as local pickup?

I just sold an item to a person in the same city to me and would like to give them the option of just picking it up instead of mailing it. How do I mark the item as picked up so that I don't have it held against me by Ebay? I know they expect tracking info to be added in a certain amount of time.

Send an invoice with Local Pickup Only as the ONLY shipping option. That should take you out of the tracking requirements.

Then get cash on pickup if they didn't pay yet.

It's already paid for. Otherwise it wouldn't be sold. But they haven't answered anyhow so it seems they aren't interested. Thanks for the help and reply.
