How to issue refund to buyer for an item that is not available

A buyer just purchased an item I didn’t realize was still listed and no longer have. I contacted the buyer right away and told them, but I can’t figure out how to issue a refund. I went to the item listing and there was no option to issue a refund or say it’s no longer available. I tried deleting the items from my selling list, thinking that would cancel the sale, but that just deleted it from my list so now I can’t find it. I’m worried that didn’t actually cancel it, and want to issue a refund, but cannot find any way to do so.

From SELLER HUB go to ORDERS, CANCEL ORDER (select item you want to cancel).

I don’t see it under orders. Does that mean it’s already been cancelled? I also don’t see it under cancellations, but I do see the amount of the order under sales.

No, it's not canceled.

Is the order listed here?

Have a great day.

Nope, not there. It just seems to have disappeared.

@sammyatu

Try Seller Hub/Orders/Cases. If you've accidently cancelled it, you'll find it there. When the next page populates, use the drop down menus to find 'Closed' or 'All'.

Edit: It takes a few keystrokes to Cancel, so I'm not hopeful. But good luck.
