@ssstoreus

Make sure that you have completed your Account profile.

You must have valid shipping and return addresses set up

You must have a valid phone number

You must have a valid payment method on file to pay your fees.

Your PayPal account must be set up to receive payments and linked to your eBay Account. Or you must be signed up for Managed Payments and have your information verified.

If your limit is 0 items and 0 dollars after you have set up your account, then contact eBay. Use the "Call Us" link at the bottom of the seller limits page that I linked below.

From outside of the U.S.,,you can use social media to contact eBay

https://facebook.com/ebay

https://twitter.com/askebay

Use Private Messaging on the social sites. Do not post any personal information on the public page.

If you have an actual limit, you must prove to eBay that you can fulfill your obligations as,a seller before they will raise your limits. You cannot ask for an increase before 90 days.

As a new seller, I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the policies and procedures for selling. Start reading here:

Also ... familiarize yourself with the MBG:

Here's a link to eBay's Help Page on selling limits. It provides an explanation and includes a button/link labeled "Request a limit increase."

Best to start slowly during the horrific shipping issues we have in the u.s..  also helps if your picture matches what you are selling,

In addition to what others have said ...

The reason eBay has limits is so that eBay can be sure that you are a reliable seller. To determine this, eBay looks at the one aspect of selling that a seller will have the hardest time manipulating - the passage of time

Sellers can create fake sales with a little help. They can quick shipping and successfule deliveries. They can fake good feedback. But what they cannot easily fake is past performance and sustained success. That is why eBay uses those things to evaluate sellers and set limits.

Make a couple sales and it'll increase on it's own fairly quickly.

How to increase Listing Limit?

I am not a big seller but found my selling limit shot up to $25K and 850 items per month without me asking. I had about 80 feedbacks at the time (all positive).

I believe ebay wants to encourage small sellers with good metrics to sell more.  They look at feedback (I am detailed and honest in listing, look at other listings to price fairly, package well, ship fast), sell-through or percent of items that sell (majority of my items sell as I research the price and method that people are buying/paying for that item and don't list things that aren't selling), and I sell in clusters which demonstrates that I can sell with some volume. I think those are the reasons they increased my limits over a six-month timeframe.
