How to have an individual and pair listing go out of stock when of the listings gets sold

so for example

3 total listings

a:1 is for the pair

b:1 listing is for one item

c:1 listing is for the other item

 

how to make it so if someone buys a, b&c automatically go out of stock

or someone buys c & a goes out of stock but b remains active

eBay is not designed for you to do this.

 

What would you do if someone wanted two pairs and bought all three of your listings in one transaction?

I assume you only have one pair.

 

First off - what are you going to do if someone buys BOTH A and B because they want an extra piece?

 

Secondly, I do not think there is a way to have that happen automatically. It will require you to do it manually. Frankly I think you are setting yourself up for trouble.
