I sold a Samsung Galaxy phone on July 26 and mailed it immediately after payment received. Tracking show it was delivered on July 30 and "left with individual". On August 15 buyer sent message that he had not received package. I looked up the address and it is one of those mail service places. I sent him an email and politely asked if he had checked with the people that run the service to see what happened and inquired why he had waited two weeks to pick up the package as he had told me it was for a gift and had requested that I not include an invoice? Now he has requested a refund stating that it is "missing parts". I am guessing that he never found what happened to phone and is lying about there being missing parts. Any suggestions as to how to respond? Thanks!

If it wasn't received he needs to contact whoever his reshipper was.

It says he is registered in the US but I think he might be in Jamaica. In an earlier post I relayed the info that was on the back of a van parked in front of the forwarding business, it stated that they forward to Jamaica. I also did a search on facebook and found a person with the buyers name that lives in Jamaica. A lot of trouble for a $40 item, I should have just donated my old phone!

I told him that on Aug 15 when he first told me he did not receive item. I think that is who he is talking about when he said he has been calling. After his latest email I told him that probably his only recourse was with the reship company. I have heard nothing further. He does have ten business days to return the item to me.
