Hi,
I left negative feedback to a buyer in the heat of the moment. How do I have it removed? I feel badly about it and want to have it removed.
Any insight is appreciated.
Thank you!

We are warned many times in the process of leaving feedback that feedback can not be revised.
However, you may be able to add a followup clarification to the feedback, or you may even be able to report yourself for leaving a negative comment in a positive review.

It must have been for a seller. Buyers cannot receive negatives. Contact the seller and ask for a revision link.

Hi,
I left the feedback to a buyer. I did’t leave a rating.
The buyer went through her bank to contest the charge because she didn’t recognize it on her bank statement. eBay asked me to provide proof she bought it and it was sent to her which I did. Her bank sided with her. Because of eBay’s protection policy I was able to keep the money from the sale. It all felt very scammy but ultimately I didn’t loose any money and I should have let it go.
So I ask the buyer for a revision link?
This is what I wrote below.
Buyer told her financial institution that she did not recognize the transaction yet we have proof she bought and paid for the wallet and it was delivered to the address she provided. Scam?

We can see what you wrote on your account and you cannot do that.
Please follow @shipscript advice and self report to remove.

It was definitely left for a buyer. It was a positive worded in a negative manner.

You might want to keep in mind for yourself for future reference that eBay doesn't allow sellers to leave negative FB for buyers. That's why your negatively-worded FB has a green donut beside it.
Incidentally, if that buyer had reported that FB to eBay, the wording would have been removed, the green donut would have stayed and you would have had a "defect" on your account.
No one appears to know how many "defects" a seller can be given before he is removed from eBay, but it's probably not many.
You may be able to add a positive remark or an apology. Worth a try, isn't it?

Thank you for your response. I’m curious what type of follow up comment you leave in this situation?

Hi,
Does the revision link give you the opportunity to change or delete the feedback?
Thank you!

You can't leave a negative feedback for a buyer. Only positive. It will still appear as positive feedback. By the way, leaving false negatives for buyers is a policy violation and could jeopardize your account if you leave too many of them. Read up on policies and rules here on eBay, it can help.

NO -- check out the OP's FB "left for others".
Definitely left for a buyer.

How do you self-report? Is there a link? I can't find this on the website.
