Hi,
Until recently, it was possible to find a listing start date by pressing Ctrl-U, then searching for "startTime". The numbers after that were the start time in Unix epoch format. However, "startTime" is no longer in the page's source code.
It is possible to find the start date for current listings by following the best answer to this question - https://community.ebay.com/t5/Buying/How-can-you-find-out-exact-date-that-the-buy-it-now-listings-wa... . The answer there is to search for the listing and the sort by newly listed. However, for sold listings, choosing "newly listed" doesn't do anything. It just remains sorted by sold date.
Does anyone know how to find this info?
Thanks

if i want to find a listing start date, i search it through my email inbox, copy the item# of the listing, then search it at my email inbox, you will find ebay notification email for the listing at the search result, the notification email date is the same of your listing start date because ebay is sending notification to your email every time you list item.

To be clear, I want to know the listing start date for other people's listings, not my own.

in this case, you need to use Terapeak tool.
Go to Terapeak tool , then write down the listing title > click "Research" > it will show you all the listings that sold > change the "Sold" tap to "Active" > you will see the active listings that related to your research title with start date...
here's Terapeak link:

Good Luck!

I did research by Terapeak for one of your listings (item# 165366730190) as example, it's shows that your listing start date is Mar 3, 2022 , and you didn't promote this listing and you have 3 watchers, watch the following screenshot photo:

If you sort sold listings by ‘date listed, oldest first’ you will see the starting date on the search page.

But this only seems to work for active items, not sold items.

I don't see an option for "date listed, oldest first". On Terapeak, I only have a column for "Date last sold". On the regular Ebay, with the sold listings checkbox, I get a choice of "Ended Recently" or "Time: newly listed". If I choose "Time: newly listed" the choice remains at "Ended Recently".

Yes, it's working with sold items, and sold items from active multi-quantity listings.
