How to end listing notices and other seller information....is there a way short of quitting?

I have already cancelled my other ebay accounts... I'd like to keep this account, but I'm never going to sell again and I'm getting tired of the emails, offerings, and free listing notices... I AM NO LONGER A SELLER.... I can't or won't do what they require to sell here.  I been a buyer and a seller my entire time on eBay.  But, if I have to keep getting all this annoying junk I don't have to be a buyer either.  I'm thrilled that you all love the new selling system and the controlled payments system.   I won't give them my SS number, tax number, nor any other number in order to comply.  I don't need to sell I just enjoyed doing it.   NOW I just want all the **bleep** information about selling to end....it is annoying.  They should allow you to be listed as a buyer without any opportunity to sell and not send us that seller info... nuff said.  I have friends that know this character and I have sellers that I do business with that know me, so I'd like to keep the ID, but I don't have to buy anything on here.

Paypal has all that same information. Not sure what the difference is giving it to ebay. *shrug*

Go to your account settings - you can modify some communications there.

If you just recently closed other accounts, remember on a Selling account, the window exists for returns, chargebacks.   You might wish to still receive some consolidated communication.

You can also change the email associated with this account to a new one, so the email you check daily does not have the e-Bay flow.

By the same token what makes the difference if you give it to everybody... Your reply was no help, your insinuation is insulting, and the difference is.. it's my money, my accounts, and my decision who has access or not.  I trust Paypal, they earned it.   I don't trust Aiden or whatever their name is...they aren't even in this country and have no accountability under U.S. Law other that what eBay has to comply with.  Papal got hacked I got my money back in three days... selling on ebay you're lucky to even get paid in three days..  Give it a rest...thanks for a non answer.

You're welcome.  If you change emails, write the info down somewhere in case you need in there.  When you're not logged in regularly, I tend to forget the info!

Exactly my point... Paypal has the info and I'm not parking it all over the INET because everyone wants to control the money flow with their own company.   I KNOW where Paypal is located... and basically who owns it.  I have no idea what all the Chinese own in money services and I'm not interested in giving them my information.
