Is there a way to send automated messages to buyers after they purchase an item?
I am not trying to spam people to get them to leave feedback, instead I want to grab their attention before I ship the item. I have gotten a huge surge of guest accounts in the past year of buyers that come from 3rd-party websites. I would say 90% of them never read the listing (or the title it seems like). This leads to unnecessary returns because the buyer needs to use the provided pictures and item description to purchase the right part, but new-to-eBayers never do this. I think it is because eBay hides the item description when you click on a listing from a google search.
I already send confirmation messages on high-return items to remind the buyer to read the description (some items require you to measure before buying or check color code) and it has saved buyers money on returns before, but I want to automate it for all of my items. Is this possible?
