Hi, i am so confused, angry, sad, and many more feelings about a message that i received today from another buyer. i am selling a white power ranger for an x amount of money and with the option to accept offers. this seller sent me a message that made me feel so bad, telling me that i am a **bleep** by trying to profit from the death of a person. i have been in front of my pc trying to list some items and i cant, for real, i have sent the person a reply very polite but i do not know why i feel so bad. the power ranger that had died is the green color and this person is telling me this nasty words on a white ranger. you claim that my selling price is crazy but i am not putting a gun on anybody heads. i think that i have experience bulling for the first time. what or how you deal with this feeling when i have never received a negative feedback ever?

death is a constant thing. you cant escape it nor can the USA ebay sellers
lets put it in context..every singe week during 2021 a thousand USA ebay sellers died
50,000 usa ebay sellers died in 2021.the deadliest year in human history
the facts are 1 out of every 60 folks in the USA is an ebay seller.
3.2 million folks died in the USA in 2021
thats a lot of stuff to get rid of but someone has to do it
time marches on

There are always going to be bullies. @$$holes are born that way and they usually don't change. That said, get over it. It won't be the last time. Keyboard warriors are the same all over the world, berate you for trying to make a buck and feed your family, but too cowardly to say anything were they to meet you face to face. You're right...if I don't like your price, then I keep looking. No point in getting your feelings hurt and giving the jerk power over you.
My advice? Block him, forget about it and you keep doing you..

I'm sorry .... but aren't Power Rangers fictional charactors from a TV show?
Or am I missing something?
All this is over a toy??? REALLY ????

Often toys will be made based on TV and Movies. It this case it is the actor who played the Green Power Ranger is who died, not the toy.

thank you so much for your reply. you are right. i send the person a very professional message and they reply with a apology. maybe because i am so passionate about my business i took it personal but at the same time i have being doing retail for a long time and really, i dont know why it hurts me so bad.

thank you for your message. you hit the point and also the person told me this based on the white ranger, but the green one is the one that had died.

thank you so much for your reply. i was thinking the same thing you said on your reply to my post. this is business and any event will impact the selling price of a item and we as professional seller look at this events to apply to our business. when the Queen of England died, any memorabilia attached to her is worth more money now. this seller that send me this message dont get it?

I know it is hard to do but do not let people like this rent space in your head. Put them on your block list and ignore any additional messages.
There are people out there whose lives are so miserable that they actually enjoy trying to make other people feel miserable. Never engage with these people, nothing you can say is ever going to change their mind.

Unless Your bored🤔😎
I guess I should stop pouting and start listing again! Seems like I'm missing all the fun just buying.. Nobody wants to heckle and harass a buyer.. I feel I missing out🤔.. I have purchased some really cool pottery the past week or so but it just doesn't get my blood going like a good ole eBay bidder with zero FB that ties up inventory then ghosted the payment process knowing I have no recourse..
Yep! Miss that Happy Selling ckimodog 😜 LOL
😉Nice to see ya on this evening! always a pleasure reading your post!

He/she gets it. Resellers have over me about 50% to stuff that I am selling. Simple reason, he/she wants to buy what I am selling for the purpose of reselling. Since, I don't have a Best Offer, I just tell them that I will take 5% less than my buy it now price, and that's the best that I can do. Or if they continue to pester me, I just say the following or some thing similar, "Thank you, but at this time I am not taking any offers. Great day!". If the person it's not a reseller, he/she will buy what I am selling at my price without asking any more questions.
Good luck on your selling journey. I hope that you have learned some thing out of what happen to you. Its really easy to get attach to items that we, as resellers are selling...

Yes Sir Jose!
If ya Buy & Sell the Things you Love or have Great Interest in you'll never get "stuck" with, or have "stale" Inventory!
My Home is one big shop.. I Buy it, I Love it, I Live with it and then I sell it (sometimes)🤔!
I have items I purchased over 20yrs ago that I put up for sale now and again but if the deals not right, it's wrong! Straight Back in my collection it goes no harm no foul! I NEVER buy a fad! There are no Elvis Beanie Babies with Purple Sequin Jackets in my cases or shelves! 😂
Your only attached to something till something Cooler comes along!

I totally understand, and I have been there done that. I have a good friend that tells me to just sell my stuff at the price that people are willing to buy. And I have done that too, only to learned that I will get a return. Keep in mind, that I pay for shipping both ways. When I got a return, and it was a computer I end up paying about $100 to $150 for sending the computer on a round trip (to buyer and back). I used to get upset. But not any more, as I am dealing with small items. Any way, when I get a return for small items, I just relist at a higher price. And some times, I end up selling at a higher price and with no returns (people did not return itme). Right now, I just want to sell as much as I can. As selling on ebay is changing a lot. What is new today, tomorrow might be some thing different.

There’s a lot to be said for dollar cost averaging if you’re dealing with a lot of things all the time! I’ve been told that Etsy would be better for my category, antiques, silver porcelain that type of thing.
I watch this place grow from $1.99 to list and three photos to the mess it is now .
