a couple of buyers want me to combine ship some items, however, they havent purchased them yet. they put them into their cart. how can I combine ship them, when they are in cart and not purchased yet

If you don't have immediate payment required, when they check out through the shopping cart they will be combined and you can adjust shipping and send them an invoice.

If you do have immediate payment required, after they check out through the shopping cart you can refund any shipping overage.

The only way to work with cart price adjustments that I know of is to get on a laptop or computer - Once the Buyer Adds the items to their Cart, they must click on the very small, very hard to find link(shaking head as I write this) situated somewhere near the items they added to their cart - The Link says "REQUEST TOTAL FROM SELLER" - Once they do that, they have effectively agreed to purchase the items and now you need to respond using the "SEND BUYER AN INVOICE" Link in the email you'll will get, or in the drop down box next to one of the items you sold him/her. You can adjust the shipping cost in that invoice - Very Best of Luck to You - I'm sure you are going to need it(still shaking head)

Oh Wait I forgot something very important - You also must have the box checked on your shipping preference page that you even allow combined shipping discounts in the first place..... hahahahahahahahahahah....really????

Two Things as a final note - 1. this will not work with a phone or app based system and 2. The Buyer has to commit to buy without knowing what, if any discount you are willing to offer until you send the invoice(a recipe for problems and dissatisfaction) Anyway this is ebay"s Grand Solution to your issue...Have fun with it

Hi--- how do I get to my shipping preference page to check the box to combine shipping ? I cannot find anything any more. Also do I have to check for each listing or is there a global way to do it?
