How to change the title of an ad

I have misspelled the name of the item and I can’t seem be able to change it in the main listing title

Go to the listing and select 'Revise your item' at the top of the page. Change your title, scroll to the bottom and select 'Update listing'. It's easy-peasy!

Now i can change the title any time i want simply by revising it  .... but i kind of remember there was a time when it wouldn't let me.  The title would be shaded out and would not let me change it.   I had to end it  and create a new listing.

Is that for the Hammitt bag? You should be able to revise it following @mtgraves7984  instructions.  I noticed that some of your listings have subtitles which do cost a minimum of $1 each month. It would be less expensive and it would help buyers to find your items in search if you put the relevant search words in the title.  For example..  Hammitt Tori Small Crossbody Leather Bag Baby Blue

I don't see the feature to change the "title" on an ebay motors ad.  Only the Subtitle and Short Description.  I had problems with this once before, and I can't remember how to change the actual title of the ad.  It's almost like it is auto-generated by ebay.

Cant say if the rules are different for Ebay Motors listings but normally you cannot change the title after bids have been received (and also if you are within the last 12 or 24 hours of the listing ending - I forget which).

You can still ADD to the existing photos and description after bids are received but you cannot change the existing text.
