How to change store URL? (I've read all the other posts)

I've read all the posts on the eBay community forum about this. I've tried all the methods. I just can't figure out how to change my store's URL.

I remember reading last year that even though you can change your store name, that store URLs can no longer changed. I don't remember the source or if it was accurate info, though.

If store URLs can't be changed then you can add it to the list of problems with stores- like the YEAR-long issue of not being able to add, delete or move store categories! 😡

@coffeebean832 the store name a seller chooses determines the stores web address (or "URL") with the format https://www.ebay.com/str/storename. The system will take out special characters (apostrophes, spaces, &, !, $, etc.), and make all letters lowercase. While it was possible to change a store URL in the past, that is no longer an option.

brian@ebay- To clarify- you're saying if a store Bob's TShirts changes its store name to Bob's Auto Parts, that the URL would remain bobstshirts and would not change to bobsautoparts?

Thanks for the info, but it didn't work.  After 'chatting' with ebay I decided to call.  They said I would have to wait 30 day after changing my name in order to change the URL.

I've spent some time searching how old store interface can be accessed now in 2022 and want to share the method I found. Just use this link - https://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?StoreDisplaySettings and you will be able to edit your store URL and some other things not accessible via modern interface.
