With the "Share Your Link" option (comes up as soon as you've completed a listing) it gives you the option of sharing a link to your listing and a choice of several social venues in which to choose from (Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, etc). Selecting Facebook only seems to give you the option of sharing to a page, a group or by friends/acquaintances. I'm trying to get the link shared to Marketplace. I don't want it appearing on my personal pages. I've tried typing "Marketplace" into the "group" selection but it doesn't seem to work, perhaps because Marketplace isn't considered a FB Group?
Does anyone have any hands-on experience with sharing to Facebook Marketplace?
~Thanks~

eBay doesn't allow you to link to an off-eBay selling website.

lacemaker3 - Indeed they do. See screenshots. It's an option that pops up as soon as I publish a listing. They are no doubt trying to get more buyers in from other Social sites by offering fee discounts.

I belive what Lacemaker is saying is that while you can link to your personal FB acct, you can NOT link to a SELLING site. Of course could be mistaken, but................................

No, they don't.
You need to pay attention to what your screenshots are showing you. You can share items on facebook, to your friends, or in a group that you belong to.
You can't link to the Facebook Marketplace, because that is an off-eBay selling website. Of course eBay doesn't allow you to link your eBay items to a website that would sell them off eBay.

Then why does it say that you pay no fees when you sell through your personal link? That's basically selling off of ebay. I wonder how that works. If someone clicks on a link on my facebook account, it must bring them to ebay where they make the purchase but because ebay knows how the buyer got there...there's no charge?? If that's the case, ebay is probably hoping that the buyer will then stay on ebay and look at other listings.

You can copy and paste your ebay listing link in to the marketplace, when a buyer clicks it, other brings them to eBay

Pinterest isn't an eBay selling site either but it allows you to share your eBay link to any of your Pinterest Boards. Same with Twitter. I realize they are links to my eBay listing, I'm just saying there should be a way to do the same in Marketplace. I've already done as you suggested by copy/pasting my eBay link in Marketplace and it works fine. Unless there's something I'm missing, I'm just saying it would be nice if eBay provided the auto-linking ability to Marketplace, as it does with the other social sites. It's not eluding eBay's check out if an item sells.

How does the sharing of my email work in:
Pay no fees when you sell through your personal link*
Does it show/expose my email to other people? Help!!!

Ya. I don’t see the FB marketplace option in the screenshot on eBay. So are there a bunch of sellers out there on eBay that sell the same items on FB marketplace? And then whoever buys it first buys it first and then they take it off of the other site?
Can you do that ?

I would like to know the answer to that question as well because I think I’m not understanding the whole share listing thing. I don’t want to put the stuff I’m selling on eBay on my Facebook page because I don’t even use Facebook except for a couple of groups I’m in.

You can share items on facebook, to your friends, or in a group that you belong to.
There are many Facebook Groups that are "buy and sell" groups. Many don't allow links to ebay listings, though some do. You would have to check the rules of each group to which you belong. In checking some of mine that are posted as "links" in such groups, there does not seem to be an option to post these types to "Marketplace".
The posts that are listed in buy and sell Facebook groups that are not posted as a "link" can also be posted to Marketplace.
