Hi! I have been a “buyer” customer to eBay for many years. That has worked fine. Any issue has been solved speedily by eBay. Now I’m for the first time want to sell an item on eBay.
The computer equipment I want to sell is way beyond the (start) limit for a new seller. I have now for several weeks tried to email and phone eBay without any response or success.
I have read Internet threads that communicate via Facebook or Twitter can be a way to get contact with eBay. However, I’m not a Facebook or Twitter user (work-related security constraints) so that is not an option for me.
Any advices on how to procced? After working on this issue for weeks I’m starting to get frustrated…

Hi @sm6fie, you can request a limit increase on this help page. If the option on that page doesn't increase your selling limit then you will have to use the 'Call us' option at the bottom of that help page. This will get you in contact with our Selling Limits team. They can review your account to see what options may be available.

Thanks for your reply, appreciated! I have done exactly what you propose many times by now. When clicking on the “Request a limit increase” button I will come to new page that give me one option and that is to talk to eBay via phone. When I select this option and click on the “Continue” button I will get a new page that says: “Need more Help?” Her I have two options, “Call Us” or “Send us an email”. I have done both, many, many times by now.
If I choose the “call us” option I will get a phone number and a onetime pass code. If I call this number I will always get a recorded message that eBay is upgrading their system and they can’t take my call just now and the call is terminated.
The other option, “Send us an email”, I have done this repeatedly, during several weeks without any reply.
Is it something that I’m missing or doesn’t understand correctly?! Grateful for any advices!
